About Us
We are YQPS and so honored to be connected with all of you!
Anika is a painter and fine artist, who specializes in acrylic paint and manages a salon by day.
Georgina (or George) is a clinical research psychologist who works with LGBTQ Veterans.
This shop grew out of our love for each other, our mutual obsession with plants, and our mission to donate to black and queer organizations/movements.
We mostly grow and propagate all of our own plants from our apartment greenhouses (i.e. we do not buy from a grower). This means that the process is slower, but also that each plant you receive was grown with our individual care and attention.
